In 2008, Sieb Posthuma designed the costumes and stage settings of Coppelia by Het Nationale Ballet. Choreographer Ted Brandsen and dramatist/librettist Janine Brogt rewrote the famous fairy tale ballet from the 19th century and turned it into a contemporary performance.

As a result of this production the picture book Coppelia was published, written by Janine Brogt and illustrated by Sieb.

In 2106, this production will be brought to stage again at Het Muziektheater in Amsterdam.
